Insurance And Liability

Last updated on: Feb 22, 2026

Introduction

Grab & Go Removals is a fully insured waste removal and clearance company operating across London. We take our responsibilities to our customers, their properties, and the wider public seriously. This page outlines the insurance cover we hold and our liability position when carrying out services on your behalf.

Public Liability Insurance

Grab & Go Removals holds comprehensive public liability insurance. This covers third-party bodily injury and property damage that may occur as a direct result of our team carrying out work on your premises. Our public liability cover is in place for every job we undertake — from single-item collections to full property clearances and office moves.

Details of our public liability insurance, including the level of cover and the name of our insurer, are available upon request. Please contact us if you require written confirmation of our insurance for commercial or legal purposes.

Waste Carrier Licence

Grab & Go Removals is a licensed waste carrier, registered with the Environment Agency in accordance with the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011. Our licence number is CBDU618900, which can be verified directly on the Environment Agency's public register.

Operating as a licensed carrier means all waste we collect is transported and disposed of legally, through approved and registered facilities. We do not engage in illegal dumping or fly-tipping under any circumstances. A Waste Transfer Note is available upon request for every collection, providing you with a legal record of the transfer of waste responsibility.

Limitations of Liability

While we take every precaution to carry out our services with care and professionalism, there are certain limitations to our liability that customers should be aware of:

  • Pre-existing damage: We are not liable for damage to items or property that existed prior to our arrival.
  • Undisclosed items: We cannot accept liability for loss or damage to fragile, valuable, or sensitive items that were not identified to us before the job commenced.
  • Items outside agreed scope: Our liability extends only to the items and areas included in the agreed service. We are not responsible for items left outside the agreed scope of work.
  • Consequential loss: We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the provision or non-provision of our services.

Our maximum liability for any single claim is limited to the total value of the service provided for that booking.

Customer Responsibility

To allow us to carry out our services safely and to the highest standard, customers are responsible for:

  • Disclosing the full nature and volume of items to be removed at the time of quoting
  • Identifying any hazardous materials, fragile items, or items of significant value prior to the job
  • Ensuring safe and legal access to the collection property, including appropriate parking for our vehicles
  • Confirming that they hold the legal right to dispose of the items being collected

Failure to disclose relevant information prior to a booking may affect our ability to complete the service and may result in additional charges or a revised quote.
