Cancellations Policy

Introduction

At Grab & Go Removals, we understand that plans can change. We aim to be as flexible as possible while ensuring our team and vehicles are deployed efficiently across London. Please read our cancellations policy carefully before booking.

Cancelling a Standard Booking

If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, the following terms apply:

  • More than 24 hours' notice: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled collection time will incur no cancellation charge. We will confirm cancellation by email or SMS upon request.
  • Less than 24 hours' notice: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection time may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price. This reflects the cost of reserving vehicle capacity and team time that cannot be reallocated at short notice.
  • After dispatch: If our team has already been dispatched to your address at the time of cancellation, the full quoted price will be charged.

Cancelling a Same-Day Booking

Same-day bookings are fulfilled on an urgent basis and require immediate allocation of our vehicles and team. For this reason:

  • Cancellations of same-day bookings made after confirmation will be charged at 50% of the quoted price.
  • Cancellations made after our team has been dispatched will be charged in full.

Rescheduling a Booking

We are happy to reschedule your booking where possible, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests made more than 24 hours before the original booking will be accommodated free of charge. Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the original booking time may be treated as a cancellation and re-booking, and the short-notice cancellation fee may apply.

To reschedule, please contact us as early as possible so we can do our best to find an alternative slot that suits you.

Cancellations by Grab & Go Removals

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel or reschedule a booking due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather conditions, vehicle breakdown, or staff illness. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer an alternative date or a full refund. We will not charge any cancellation fee where the cancellation is initiated by us.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

To cancel or reschedule a booking, please contact us by phone or email as soon as possible, quoting your booking reference. Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made directly with our team — requests submitted via third-party platforms or forms may not be processed in time.

Refunds

Where a deposit or advance payment has been taken and a cancellation qualifies for no charge under the terms above, any refund due will be processed within 5–10 working days to the original payment method.
